Here’s how some of their fundraising went –
Andy Sprott from Broadlands Riding Stables for the Disabled was thrilled to inform us that they raised just in excess of £700 from raffling off the items. He quoted “this money will help us very much and will go towards our appeal to replace the crumbling roof of our riding school. This vital work will ensure that our riders can continue to benefit from the therapeutic riding lessons that Broadlands provides for them throughout many years to come, whatever the weather” also was able to confirm that they plan for work on the roof to start in the next month or so.
Clare Lay from Naomi House & Jacksplace confirmed they were thrilled to have raised £4,000 in total from various events where they auctioned the items which included a Murder Mystery event held at the Novotel Hotel in Southampton, Store Wars (Corporate Challenge) in their Eastleigh shop and further events.
Chris Allock, Director of Safe Families for Children confirmed the money raised from their bucket collection has supported the training of volunteers who have been able to directly support lots of families struggling with a crisis.
