By doing this, with support from our community partners, we aim to make a positive difference between young people and authority figures. Kicking down barriers.
We kick off on weekday evenings across the city during school term time, whilst holding our Street Games during the school holidays.
Free and for all, let’s kick it!
I feel I’ve made a lot more friends and I am going out a lot more and feel much more safe when you are out doing this with them. I have had more opportunities to do things that I like such as playing football in tournaments.” Cody – Saints Kicks Participant.
Kicks Street Games
Kicks Street Games offers young people between the ages of 8-19 the chance to take part in free open access sporting activities throughout the half terms. The sessions are across Southampton, free, and cater for all abilities. All sessions are led by qualified coaches, allowing young people to socialise whilst taking part in various sports.
Kicks Street Games returns for October half-term. More details about the sessions will appear in due course.
