Saints Foundation delighted to welcome Bronze Patrons onboard
Saints Foundation, the official charity of Southampton Football Club, have joined forces with the business community of Southampton to continue to help make a positive difference to local people’s lives.
We officially launched the Friends of Saints Foundation scheme in September 2017, to give local businesses the opportunity to connect with the charity and support children, young people and older adults across the city. The charity have been overwhelmed with the initial support with over 50 Patrons joining.
As an extension to this support, the charity have now introduced a new Bronze Patrons initiative, which was launched at St Mary’s Stadium this week.
Head of Saints Foundation, Greg Baker, provided an update about the impact that the charity continues to make and thanked the Patrons for their support.
“Saints Foundation are excited about the connections that we have formed with the business community of Southampton, and indeed the surrounding area.
“Businesses, at whatever level, are a vital source of support for a charity such as ours, and many of them share the values that we believe in. We are looking forward to further developing our partnerships with them so that we can collectively continue to help our beneficiaries”.
Saints Foundation were joined by businesses including: Barratt David Wilson Homes, Business Choice Direct, Ridon Joinery, Wessex Regional Care Limited, Clarke Wilmott LLP, CLC Contractors, Adams Morey, Elmtree Signs, 3D Personnel and PowerPlus Electrical, who all officially became Bronze Patrons of the charity.
Lief Keay-Chaplin, Business Development Executive at Business Choice Direct, was thrilled to be a part of the new scheme. He said: “Business Choice Direct are delighted to support Saints Foundation, and become a Bronze Patron.
“Saints Foundation deliver a number of life changing projects, to help the people of Southampton and provide our business with an opportunity to help make a difference.
“I would encourage other companies to get involved, as the work they do really does transform people lives.”
