School Delivery & Teacher CPD
Saints Foundation deliver both extra-curricular and curriculum based sessions at schools in Hampshire and Wiltshire. All of our extra curricular based sessions are delivered by our experienced and qualified coaches as breakfast, lunch and after school clubs. Our curriculum based delivery is then delivered by our qualified coaches, tailored to the needs of the school.
In accordance to FA guidelines and Hampshire County Council, Saints Foundation operate on the ratio of a 1 coach to 16 pupils at our extra curricular School Sport Clubs, and schools have the option to have this either a school funded club, or parent funded.
All of our parent funded extra curricular clubs run for a term, and participants can book on for the full course which equates to £3.50 per session. In all of our programmes, participants will automatically join our player progression pathway and look to bring potential into excellence.
Saints Foundation are able to work alongside your teaching staff to deliver Physical Education within your school. Saints Foundation can develop a bespoke programme that will up skill your teachers in the delivery of specific sports and serve as a teaching CPD for your school. This provision follows the resources and format of the successful Primary Stars programme.
Below are some of the ideas on how we can support your teachers:
- Design a bespoke teacher CPD programme for your school.
- Provide information on how to differentiate P.E sessions to meet your pupils needs (ALL, SOME and FEW objectives).
- Aid formative and summative assessments of children in line with assessment criteria.
- Aid planning and preparation of P.E.
- Help plan a school curriculum.
