Wessex Regional Care announced as headline partner of Big Bike Challenge
Saints Foundation are delighted to announce Wessex Regional Care as the Headline Partner of our 2018 Saints Big Bike Challenge.
A total of 39 riders will be embarking on a 230 mile journey from Manchester to Southampton over the course of a two or three day journey, with a further nine riders also joining the challenge from Swindon for a one day ride to help raise vital funds for the charity.
Wessex Regional Care have been a long term supporter of Saints Foundation and were keen to continue their strong relationship with the charity.
Mark Barrett, WRCL Managing Director, commented, “Over the past four years we have learnt about the work of Saints Foundation and the diverse range of life changing projects that they deliver for adults and young people that need support in Southampton.”
“As a provider of residential domiciliary care and supported living services, our mission is ‘moving to independence’ which shares synergies with Saints Foundation, who believe in changing lives to fulfil potential”.
Sam Fulling, Saints Foundation Manager, added, “Without the support and generosity of Wessex Regional Care, delivering events on this scale is increasingly difficult. We are extremely grateful for the contribution and look forward to developing a fruitful and prosperous relationship.”
“The financial support of Wessex Regional Care assists in covering a number of event costs in order that all funds raised by the riders will go towards our charitable projects, delivering innovative and life changing support for young people and adults at risk in our local community”.
Riders from Wessex Regional Care will also be taking part in the event and helping to generate additional funds through their fundraising targets.
